Apex Conditioning
Apex Conditioning (AC) is a group class focused entirely around cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Perfect for members who enjoy a wide variety ofexercises and drills, AC makes a fun and challenging option for members looking to “get in shape,” “lose a few pounds,” or “keep up with the kids.” AC combines both high intensity interval training (HIIT) with low intensity high volume weight training for a unique and complete fitness approach.
Apex Mountain Fit
Apex Mountain Fit (AMF) takes the physical requirements of rugged mountain life and puts them in a group class designed to help make everyone’s mountain experience easier and more enjoyable. AMF combines HIIT and low intensity steady state cardio all done with a variety of load bearing methods to get you mountain fit.
Apex Strength
Apex Strength is a strength and power focused training protocol in a group training dynamic. Classes are designed to chain together and build off each other over the course of a week; and for those dedicated members each week will build towards the next over an 8 week training period. This class focuses primarily upon gross body movements (GBM) and achieving imporved strength thru basic, tried and true, fundamental exercises. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes provided a perfect option for members at different stages of their climb.
Apex Summit
Designed to meet the needs of our seniors, Apex Summit combines strength and movement exercises with cardiovascular training at a level of intensity appropriate for any senior citizen interested in being stronger and feeling better. The primary focus of Apex Summit is to improve quality of life for seniors by pursuing injury prevention, improving balance and coordination, as well as increased cardiovascular performance.
Apex Fundamentals
For the fitness beginner or the person coming back to exercise from a long hiatus, Apex Fundamentals offers the perfect place to start. Apex Fundamentals utilizes simple, body-weight and calisthenic exercises that anyone can do, and groups them together in a complete training protocol that benefits everyone who attends. We haver taken into accounts people’s apprehension at the perceived lev el of difficulty and intensity of other classes on our schedule and now offer Apex Fundamentals as a solution to anyone looking for a good place to start.
Apex Blender
With Martial Arts being the other half of the Apex program, we established the Blender as a bridge for those members who might find themselves on the fence about either side.
Apex Blender is a two hour fitness adventure, broken into four distinct, thirty minute sessions, where we bring the best of both sides of our program together in one experience. Although this is a two hour class, members are under no obligation to attend all four sessions.
